How to Catch a Leprechaun

After school today, Izzie and I had doctor appointments. When we arrived, the girls were so excited to tell me about the leprechaun trap they had designed and built. They rushed to tell me what they had done and I tried to picture in my head what they created, but not going to lie, I was having a hard time.

Coming home, we quickly took off our coats and I put my things away. Then we headed into the living room to see their trap. I was impressed by what I saw. My words will not do it justice, so you will need to take a look at the pictures below. But hearing that Izzie had developed this idea, it amazed me how creative she can be. And watching Sophia explain how the trap works for her Flipgrid made me smile.

I love when the girls use some everyday things around the house: dry erase easel, paper, helium balloons, paper cups, and gold coins to create something that works and serves a purpose. However, as hard as they tried, they were unsuccessful in catching the leprechaun.
