As I’m waiting in the car line, I see my girls moving towards the car. Both girls have something in their hands…Izzie a large piece of paper and Sophia a very small piece of paper, blue in color.
The car door opens and I ask, “Sophia, were you on superstar blue today?”
“Yes!” she replies enthusiastically.
The buckling of seatbelts ensues and when I hear two clicks, I know it is time to drive towards home.
As I begin the drive, Sophia tells the story of how she clipped up to blue first thing in the morning. She was the first to put away all of her supplies and she did so quietly. She was the only one on superstar blue.
It is the moments like this that bring a smile to my face and make my heart happy. The excited storytelling coupled with the huge smile are priceless.
