A Familiar Friend

As I finally sat down tonight to write, a familiar friend joined me…Gilmore Girls. I have seen every episode multiple times. I own all of the seasons that have been made. I could watch these episodes over and over.

The relationship between Lorelei and Rory makes me laugh, cry, and hope that I can have a relationship like this with my daughters. One in which we have fun together and learn together and laugh together and cry together. My girls have changed my life and I love it!

So don’t mind me, I will be watching Gilmore Girls!

  1. My daughter watched Gilmore Girls growing up and when I went to visit her after her divorce and move across the country, we watched the reunion seasonal series together – a nice bonding experience!

  2. Gilmore Girls is cemented into my and my daughter’s history. We constantly make references to it. She’s my Rory and I’m her Lorelei. I think we’ll need to watched again when she returns home for spring break. Thanks for the reminder.
