Silly Sarah

Driving to the fire station yesterday, Sophia asked, “Do you know where you are going? Do we need Silly Sarah?”

I paused for a brief moment, unsure of who Silly Sarah was and why we might need her. So I asked Sophia, “Silly Sarah? Why would we need her? I know where we are going.”

“Are you sure? Silly Sarah tells us where to go!” Sophia replied.

Then it hit me, Silly Sarah is the lady who talks to use when we use the map app on my phone.

Fast forward to this evening as the girls and I were in the car, headed out to dinner for Papa’s birthday. I told the girls I wasn’t sure where I was headed. Their response? “We need Silly Sarah!”

And so, Silly Sarah accompanied us on our ride, helping us navigate to the restaurant for dinner, to Papa’s house, and back home. Thank you Silly Sarah!

  1. So perfect! 🙂 Recently my kids realized they could record THEIR voices to be the map app voice. They are having way too much fun with it! And it makes me laugh to hear them telling me where to go. 🙂
